Bij twijfel mag je ons altijd contacteren!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Soms ontvang je als eigenaar van een <strong>.be-domeinnaam<\/strong> een e-mail van <strong>DNS Belgium<\/strong>, bijvoorbeeld om je contactgegevens te bevestigen, contactgegevens opnieuw te valideren of als waarschuwing dat je domein komt te vervallen. Hun laatste bericht op 16 juni 2025 ging nu over wijzigingen in hun algemene voorwaarden in verband met de Europese NIS2-richtlijn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"toc-wat-of-wie-is-dns-belgium\">Wat of wie is DNS Belgium?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DNS Belgium is de offici\u00eble beheerder van alle .be-domeinnamen<\/strong>. Ook al regel je je domein via ons of een andere hostingpartij, toch kan DNS Belgium je soms rechtstreeks contacteren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zij beheren namelijk het centrale register van alle .be-domeinen \u2014 een databank met informatie over:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>wie de eigenaar is van een domeinnaam;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>wie de technische of administratieve contactpersoon is;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>en welke technische instellingen erbij horen (zoals de naamservers).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Dat centrale register wordt in vaktermen een <strong>registry<\/strong> genoemd, en <strong>DNS Belgium is dus de registry voor .be-domeinen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"toc-wat-is-onze-rol\">Wat is onze rol?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Wij verzorgen de registratie van de domeinnamen met de correcte gegevens van en voor onze klanten rechtsreeks via erkende, bekende en grote <em>registrars<\/em>, met wie we samenwerken. Ook al zit er technisch gezien nog een laagje tussen, zijn wij voor onze klanten feitelijk de functionele <em>registrar<\/em>. Maar&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udca1 <strong>Twijfel je of een mail betrouwbaar is? Of weet je niet zeker of je iets moet doen? Dan mag je ons altijd contacteren.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zo voorkom je dat je onbedoeld op phishing klikt of een foutje maakt in instellingen. Wij kijken het graag voor je na. Je hoeft meestal geen actie te ondernemen als je een mail van DNS Belgium ontvangt \u2014 <strong>tenzij anders vermeld of als je vragen hebt<\/strong>.
